Opening up a forgotten gift...

I picked up a book tonight that I hadn't read in a while and upon opening this book of poetry, I remembered that it had been a gift. And the giver of this beautiful and insightful work inscribed "over the years it has become a friend who gives advice, council, and peace."

Thank you to those of you, who, when giving a book to a friend as a gift, leaves a footprint on the inside for the receiver to pause and even draw a tear or two and reflect upon that friendship.
