1.01.2009

i've decided to pull my nose out of the super intense book i'm reading (don't worry, i won't bore you with any clues to what it is...i'm sure you're all sick of it by now) but i thought it would be healthy for me to take a look at this past year, ponder it, take note of a few bad things, learn from it, then start the year 2009 off right.
  • always first on the list...be a better mother, wife & friend (i feel that should be at the top of any mother, wife or friends list)
  • throw a few more parties (i love a good party)
  • exercise more
  • invest a little more time in speaking with old friends on the telephone instead of emailing
  • learn more about my camera
  • put more imagination into the gifts i give people

although i've just mentioned a few of my wants for 2009 (and i'm sure most of us feel that way at the beginning of a new year) i hope i can always hold close to me what my Heavenly Father wants of me this year, and not worry about the rest.

i sure hope i don't disappoint.

you are so good. one of my goals is to be better about contacting my old friends AT ALL, be it email or even a facebook "hi," let alone on the phone.

i want to know what book you're reading....

I've missed your blog since I've been MIA in cyberworld lately. So don't stop blogging ever! Your blog is truly one of my favorites- one of the most refreshing. And I love how you brought to perspective that it really is all about His plan. Thanks for that! Love you and a happy new year!
