admittedly, i've been acting a little childish the past few days. i'm gonna pick myself up, dust off my good attitude & start meeting livie's "mommy, hold you!" requests with a little bit more enthusiasm. in defense, it is a request that happens almost the entire time we're at home. i adore hearing "mommy" come after everything she says, don't get me wrong, but come on! daddy's standing right there!

That sounds like my house. If you think of a way to help Livie get over her need to be held all the time please share!
sheri, it's better just to accept it and get on with life...cause it doesn't really change just because they happen to be 11, 15, 17 or even 18! my kids can call the house, steve will answer, and they will ask to talk to me for whatever need it is...even if it's something they know their father can take care of. drives me NUTS!!! but what can i say. we are mothers. it's what we do.

The same thing happens at our house. It's so exhausting yet so endearing. We love being moms huh?
