we are saying goodbye to sophie. we love you, girl. you truly were the sweetest, cutest, loveable dog anyone that knew you had ever known. the way you looked up at us, the way you would play with livie, even the way you would hog the dog dish at suppertime. (from our other dog, friends, not from us)i know we'll see you someday and when we do, what a glorious reunion all 5 of us will have. rest in peace, girl. we love you and will think of you daily.

oh no...i'm so sorry. i know they're "only dogs" but believe me, we've shed some serious tears, even the men folk, each time we've had to say goodbye to any of ours. it's never easy.
