•••third time's a charm?•••

...i think i would say that in any other circumstance but a little girl turning 3 is not so charming. our birthday morning started out nice but then along came a beautiful princess dress that didn't "spin" right and all hell broke loose. she ended up spending an hour of her birthday in her room. is she just "unique" about her desire for a good "spin"? (fyi: her mommy loved to wear dresses that spun too when she was little. her mommy needs to remember this)
here she is before she tried to spin...do you notice how happy she "was"?
it's ok...the rest of day turned out pretty nice...

they all loved toy story 3. who didn't?

happy birthday, livie...our "charming" little 3 year old. we love you!

I remember spinning dresses in the cultural hall with you many years ago, and yes, it was pretty important to you! Happy Birthday to an adorable little girl!

I love it, minus the hour in her room. Let her spin! Clara spent all day in a skirt shaking her hips, so to her, it's not about the spin. No matter the attire, her little hips can shake.

anna...this girl LOVES to spin, so when a dress doesn't spin "right", she has a major meltdown. so that's why she got some time in her room. (she'd spin all day in the right dress and we love it...minus the meltdowns)
