•••our day of play•••

• it started off with a little playtime at hayden's house (where it's always filled with fun)
• followed by lunch with mommy's laurels at freestone park where we saw the ducks & rode the carousel
• next was a "wanna be" nap. (that's where a nap isn't really a nap at all. mom just wants it to be)
• instead we'll just get in the tub & wash away the day's play.
• to finish the night off right, while jumping with mommy, oops...an old fashioned "ouchie" (blood & all) right on the lip. believe me, this affected mommy way more than it did livie. 5 minutes after it happened, she's done crying, mommy's still bawling & she starts up with the "jump" again. (doesn't she remember what just happened?)

bedtime came early for both of us tonight. and when we wake in the morning to do it all over, i'll see her battle wound & cry again.
